Architecture and systems design for scalable, reliable software — microservices, data pipelines, and cloud-native deployments.
Full stack development across frontend and backend technologies with a focus on C# and .NET for building production-ready web applications and APIs.
Bridging business requirements and technical implementation using specification-driven development to produce clear, testable contracts between stakeholders, engineering teams and AI agents.
Technical authoring in Markdown, producing clear developer-focused documentation, specs, and guides for engineers, teams, and AI.
Optimizing prompts and context windows for large language models to improve relevance, reduce hallucination, and align outputs with business goals.
Software engineering has never been just a job for me; it is a lifelong pursuit of building systems that matter. With over 15 years of experience—ranging from crafting foundational web architectures for iconic brands to my current deep dive into AI and spec driven development—I have maintained a singular focus: delivering high-value solutions that solve complex real-world problems.

The client needs to streamline its social media management, estimation, and project tracking. The solution involved implementing an AI-driven pipeline that converts customer emails and project logs into engaging blog content, supported by AI-optimized marketing imagery. This shift significantly reduced administrative overhead, freeing up the team to prioritize high-value work. Future iterations will focus on automating data ingestion and execution to make these background processes almost entirely hands-off.
Skills: Gemini, Airtable, Pomelli
Blog posts are synthesized via Gemini using specific prompt engineering to ensure brand alignment. Image styling is handled by Pomelli for a polished, professional look. The next stage of the rollout utilizes Airtable’s native triggers and AI capabilities to bridge disparate data points into a fully automated workflow.

The Wellness survey asks 72 questions about the users life choices. There are two variations of the survey. After a user completes the survey it is scored and an email is generated that explains the scores and helps the user understand how they perform in areas like honesty, humility and physical fitness.
Skills: Survey Monkey, Google Apps Script, Google Sheets
The project used Survey Monkey to build and collect answers. The scoring was done using Google Apps Script. Answers were stored in Google Sheets. These technologies were chosen to create an MVP that will be presented to hundreds of users. As the project grows these technologies will be replaced for higher volume solutions and extended capabilities.
2023 — 2024
The restaurant POS system is a web-based application that allows restaurant staff to take orders, manage reservations, and process payments. The system also includes a dashboard for restaurant managers to view sales data and manage staff schedules.
Skills: Data Schema Design, Microservice Architecture
The system is built using a microservice architecture, with each service responsible for a specific area of functionality (e.g., order management, reservation management, payment processing). The services communicate with each other using RESTful APIs. The data schema is designed to be flexible and scalable, allowing for easy addition of new features and services in the future.
2020 — 2020
A high-profile public data visualization site developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to track percent-change in restaurant attendance across the United States.
Skills: Vue.js, D3.js, AWS Redshift, JSON, .NET Core
Built a custom automated pipeline to generate daily aggregate data from Redshift into optimized JSON files. These files were served to a Vue.js frontend which utilized D3.js for complex geographical data visualization and heatmap rendering.
2016 — 2020
An enterprise-scale big data architecture designed to ingest thousands of events per second from restaurant kitchens across the US and Europe to enable advanced analytics and reporting.
Skills: C#, .NET Core, AWS SQS, AWS S3, AWS Redshift, Grafana
Engineered .NET Core microservices to ingest high-throughput asynchronous data from SQS. Developed preprocessing services to populate Redshift for complex reporting and built a schema-update process to ensure consistent deployment across environments.
2006 — 2008
A global benefits and salary analysis platform used for multi-national data points and large-scale compensation tracking.
Skills: .NET 1.1/2.0, Oracle, SQL, Unit Testing
Optimized a specialized Oracle-based query system using a custom SQL superset to aggregate multi-national datasets. Introduced unit testing and code metric tracking to the development lifecycle to ensure global data integrity.
2000 — 2005
A custom-built Customer Relationship Management system designed specifically to manage the global Maker’s Mark Ambassador program and its complex data workflows.
Skills: C#, .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Engineered a dynamic SQL generation engine that allowed the system to scale and manage high-capacity performance requirements for enterprise-level data.
